Death Need Not Be Feared

On a quiet Sunday morning
The earth was all aglow,
For the sun was just now shining
On the worshippers below.

This was Easter morning -
Voices were lifted in praise,
For on one morning, years ago,
Our Lord Jesus was raised.

He was raised from the dark tomb
That He was put into 3 days ago,
And because of His resurrection
We too, shall some day know - -

That death need not be feared.
His love has shown us the way.
Because He rose up from the dead,
We all shall see Him one day.
