Our Mariners,
originally established in 1965, meet the first Wednesday
of each month. Every member brings a potluck item to share.
This is followed by meeting and program, then closed in
prayer.
These Wednesday
gatherings are open to everyone. We have great times getting
to know one another. Also, our Mariners group have taken
on many different types of "Cargo" in support
of our church, most recently with donations to the foodbank
and building repairs. The Mariners primary fund raiser is
an annual Boutique and Soup Luncheon in November. They serve
great tasting soups (chicken, clam chowder. and vegetable),
and delicious desserts.
